BBC Radio presenter Ian Skye’s recently interviewed Justin Fellows, managing director of Spirit Medical, to talk about a consignment of humanitarian aid, including 300,000 items of PPE, which Spirit Medical donated to Ukraine.

Justin Fellows commented: “I am very proud of our team at The Spirit Medical Group, as they have all been determined to find practical ways in which Spirit Medical could show our support for the Ukrainian people during this traumatic time.”

“Having a longstanding ethos of partnering with the highest standards of ethics to help people and organisations where we can. Security of supply is everything at this time and it’s what we have been doing for the last 15 years for the NHS.”

“Spirit Medical strives to provide the best possible service at all times but also considers the impact our actions, products and services can have – regionally, nationally and internationally. So it was very important to us all to do something on a practical level for Ukraine.”

“Our expertise, as one of the key suppliers of critical care therapy products and quality PPE to the NHS, means that we have been able to donate in our own way products that will help protect the people who need it most in treating patients injured in this terrible war.”

“I am so proud of the whole Spirit Medical team, what we do and the way that we do it, it’s been a pleasure to help in this small way,” – Justin Fellows, MD, Spirit Medical
