Global supply issues continue to challenge the NHS

It is widely reported that global supply challenges continue to affect many providers of IV consumables and medical products including current ongoing shortages of some needle-free products.

In response to these product supply challenges and to help our NHS partners and customers, Spirit Medical has been investing in buffer stocks of products and we have been working for past several years to expand our storage and distribution network.

With the most recent addition to this network, a centrally located within the UK, Spirit Medical’s 90,000 sq. ft. state-of the-art storage and distribution facility remains pivotal in helping remove many of the supply challenges facing the NHS.

This includes the robust supply of a range of medical products, such as Spirit Medical’s SecureConnect® needle-free system, helping ensure our customers are never out of stock. SecureConnect® is our high-quality, high-performance needle-free connection system, enabling safe and effective IV access for infusions of IV fluids, drugs and blood sampling.

In addition, our customer support teams, continue to provide unparalleled, bespoke training programmes to help deliver best clinical practice.
