Spirit Medical is proud to introduce MedFuser®, our next-generation portfolio of portable elastomeric infusion pumps, marking an important strategic step in the continued development of our IV therapy proposition and support for UK healthcare professionals.
Developed over five years in close collaboration with regional pain teams and clinical pain specialists across the UK, MedFuser® represents an evolution in elastomeric infusion technology, combining advanced flow-control technology with an extensive portfolio of configurations, sizes and flow rates designed to support a wide range of ambulatory infusion therapies and patient requirements.
The MedFuser® portfolio builds on our established experience with Dosi-Fuser®, introducing an evolved elastomeric infusion pump designed to deliver greater clinical flexibility, configuration choice and therapy-specific solutions.
Evolved elastomeric technology
MedFuser® has been developed to deliver safe, accurate and reliable continuous infusion without an external power source. Our evolved elastomeric technology incorporates an advanced flow-control capillary, integrated air-eliminating and particle filtration, kink-resistant tubing, integrated hanger and clip, a filling port with a pressure-activated valve and an accurate fluid-level indicator.
A strategic investment in Spirit Medical’s IV therapy proposition
The introduction of MedFuser® represents more than the addition of a new elastomeric pump range. It forms part of our continued investment in strengthening our position as a specialist provider of IV therapy and ambulatory infusion solutions to the NHS and UK healthcare providers.
