Summary

MedFuser® MultiFlow SPLIT NRFit Elastomeric Infusion Pumps allow connection of two catheters simultaneously and delivery of pain medication via two separate channels controlled by a single MultiFlow adjustable flow rate control module. Inclusion of a MultiFlow Module and removable key allows clinicians to set and/or vary the infusion flow rate at both channels, throughout the infusion.

MedFuser® MultiFlow SPLIT NRFit Elastomeric Infusion Pump is a flexible solution for bilateral pain management therapies in clinical settings where the clinician anticipates the need for various flow rates of medication delivery.

Flexibility of patient care delivered by MedFuser® MultiFlow SPLIT NRFit pumps
supporting many pain management procedures, clinical scenarios and patient populations.

Compatible with all key routes of fluid administration for Pain Management
including: Intravenous, Subcutaneous, Epidural and Wound Infusion.

Advancing patient safety
MedFuser® MultiFlow SPLIT NRFit pumps combine a number of elements together to provide safe and effective infusions: Robust, UV light-shielded outer housing, accurate fluid level indicator, two integrated particle filters, kink-resistant tubing and advanced adjustable flow control. All of our NRFit pumps are clearly identified in yellow to ensure that the right device is used for the right therapy and right patient, providing peace of mind and confidence.

NRFit® connectors designed to enhance patient safety
by reducing the risk of “wrong route” medication errors in administering regional anaesthesia.

Quick and accurate identification
MedFuser® pumps with NRFit connectors feature a distinctive yellow colour across the pump housing, labelling and patient line, including a yellow connector and yellow hydrophobic cap.

Flexibility in flow control
with the ability to safely adjust the infusion rate for both infusion channels.

Compatible with WoundSoak® CWI
wound catheters to optimise post-operative pain management. WoundSoak® catheters for postoperative continuous infusion fit perfectly onto our MedFuser® MultiFlow SPLIT NRFit portable elastomeric pump. Using the continuous wound infusion technique, anaesthetics and analgesics are infused through a multi-hole catheter directly into the surgical site for optimised postoperative pain relief.

Promotes patient recovery and improves quality of life
by increasing patient mobility whilst removing the inconveniences of electronic pumps.

  • Patient Friendly: Silent operation, no beeping or alarms
  • Easy to Use: No programming is required
  • Economical: No capital investment, ongoing maintenance costs or dedicated sets are required.
  • Maintenance-free: No calibration, repairs or technical service support required.
  • Highly portable: Robust construction, lightweight and small.
  • Ready for use anytime: No batteries or any power source required.

MedFuser® helps reduce hospital length of stay
It has been demonstrated that patients who received their post-operative pain management treatments via elastomeric pump were able to be discharged earlier, saving time in clinical care, improving patient recovery and quality of life, while providing healthcare cost savings.

High reliability
Achieved through high-quality design and manufacturing.

Optimal accuracy and precision
Delivered by a unique, innovative and advanced flow control capillary.

Proven drug compatibility
Silicone is well established and tested to support drug stability for a wide range of medication fluids.

Peace of mind and confidence
Our specially designed guided balloon, featuring an accurate fluid level indicator, provides clinicians and patients with clarity and reassurance about the progress of the infusion and the remaining amount of drug to be administered.

Ease of filling
Our one-way valve and balloon design make it easy to fill the MedFuser® MultiFlow SPLIT NRFit pumps.

Two integrated air-eliminating and particle filters
Every MedFuser® MultiFlow SPLIT NRFit infusion pump is equipped with two integrated air-eliminating and particle filters. Each of these filters feature the 1.2 μm hydrophilic and 0.2 μm hydrophobic membranes in a single housing automatically stop particles and expel air from the infusion line. Filter construction materials contain no natural rubber, latex or latex derivatives, PVC, hydroxyvinyl chloride, DEHP, BPA or TSE/BSE.

Filling port with a pressure-activated valve
Convenient and safe filling port with an integrated one-way valve, ensuring a secure filling process. Composed of a sonically welded, DEHP-free thermoplastic body and a latex-free silicone diaphragm. Fully compliant with standard ISO 80369-7 and made from materials approved to USP Class IV standards.

Two distal caps with hydrophobic valves provided with all MedFuser® MultiFlow SPLIT NRFit pumps
Enable safe and confident priming of each patient line without the risk of fluid spills or medication exposure. The 0.2 μm hydrophobic membrane automatically stops fluid once the patient lines are fully primed.

Integrated hanger and clip
Enables quick and secure mounting and positioning of MedFuser® MultiFlow SPLIT NRFit pumps.
